Office-bearers elected

Members of the Andhra Pradesh Teachers’ Federation elected new executive body on Monday. They elected K. Venugopal and Sheik Jilani president and general secretary. On the occasion, federation members demanded the State government to sanction two notional increments for two years apprenticeship period. The federation also wanted the government to consider the apprentice period while calculating the pension.
