Youth found dead

VISAKHAPATNAM: A youth was found dead in a drain at Sanjeevaiah Nagar near Thatichetlapalem on Monday.

Immanuel, 30, a contract worker in a private company was found dead in the drain. There were injuries on his chest and head.

Kancharapalem police are investigating the case.

Worker injured

A worker was injured in a fall at the Visakhapatnam Airport on Monday.

The worker, who was working on the New Terminal Building, slipped and fell to the ground and was injured. He was admitted to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

Fifth Town police are investigating the case.

Body washed ashore

The body of M. Mahendra, 25, in charge of Shilparamam, who drowned at the Rushikonda Beach on Sunday, was washed ashore after midnight.

Mahendra had gone for a bath along with three other friends when he was dragged into the sea by the waves.
