Gana Babu quits TDP

Telugu Desam leader and former MLA from Pendurthy Gana Babu on Monday announced his decision to resign from the TDP. This has put an end to speculations doing the rounds during the past few days that he would resign from the party.

He denied having been pressurised by anyone to quit the party. He said that he was influenced by the ideology of Praja Rajyam founder Chiranjeevi and added that he would join the PRP.
