PR promises true governance
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: In what was a blistering attack on all political leaders across all parties, Pawan Kalyan, film actor and brother of Praja Rajyam president Chiranjeevi, said they were not political leaders interested in the welfare of people and progress of society per se, at all.
He was speaking after hoisting of the Praja Rajyam flag at Warasiguda in Musheerabad Assembly constituency in the city on Tuesday. He hoisted party flags, covering 16 constituencies from Rahmat Nagar in Jubilee Hills to Skyline Theatre in Himayatnagar constituency in a day-long series of programmes.
Mr. Kalyan regretted that 61 years after Independence, issues concerning the common man remained much the same and promised that when Praja Rajyam was voted to power under the leadership of Mr. Chiranjeevi, people would see the change. Praja Rajyam would show what true governance was and how it could be done.
