This Day That Age
A six-pound shark, believed to be first born alive in captivity, has been delivered by caesarean operation. Biologists acted as surgeons after it appeared that the 250-pound mother shark would not be able to have a normal birth. The mother shark died after the operation, says a message from Marine-land, Florida, dated October 5.
