Two children drown as boat capsizes
ADILABAD: Two children drowned in Penganga river near Kedarpur village in Jainad mandal late on Monday when the country boat in which they were crossing the river capsized. Chityala Sai Kiran, 7, and Sai Ram, 9, were among the five members of a family who were returning after visiting relatives in Rooda village across the river in Maharashtra. Fishermen and other villages could save the lives of Ashanna, Santosh and Surekha who are the relatives of the deceased. A case has been registered and investigation is on. – Staff Reporter
