ADILABAD: The District Medical and Health Department will conduct seven eye disease screening camps at various places in the district in connection with the World Sight Day 2008 that was celebrated on Thursday. The theme os the current event is "Eye on the future-fighting visual impairment in later life. Adilabad DMHO D. Babu and District Programme Manager of the District Blindness Control Society (DBCS) said after screening eligible patients will be supplied freely with a pair of glasses. The camps will be held at Area Hospital, Mancherial on October 14, at Community Hospitals Bellampalli and Nirmal on October 15, at CHC Asifabad and Area Hospital, Bhanisa on October 22 at Jainoor PHC on October 24 and at RIMS, Adilabad on October 31.
