SCR specials to clear festival rush

HYDERABAD: Keeping in view the passenger rush during the festival season, South Central Railway is running special trains on Hyderabad-Howrah, Secunderabad-Chennai, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad-Hazrat Nizamuddin routes.

The Hyderabad-Howrah-Hyderabad special will depart Hyderabad on October 11 and 15 at 11 p.m. and arrive at Howrah at 3.25 a.m. the next day. In return direction, the train will leave Howrah on October 13 and 17 respectively at 4.40 p.m. and arrive in Hyderabad at 8.20 p.m. the next day.

En route, the 16-coach train will halt at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Bhubaneshwar, Cuttack, Balasore and Kharagpur among others.

The Secunderabad-Chennai Central-Secunderabad special will depart Secunderabad on October 24, 26 and 28 at 8.30 p.m. and arrive at Chennai Central at 9.05 a.m. the next day.

Departure from Chennai Central will be on October 25, 27 and 29 at 7.40 p.m. while the arrival at Secunderabad is scheduled at 9.10 a.m. the next day.
