Pakistan’s Chief Martial Law Administrator, General Ayub Khan, disclosed in Karachi on October 9 that he had told President Mirza before the abrogation of the Constitution that if he (Mirza) failed to act to “bring about a change” in Pakistan, the Army would force a change, according to Radio Pakistan monitored in New Delhi. Pakistan Radio also said in a broadcast on October 10 that Mr. M.A. Khuhro, Pakistan’s Minister for Interior in the Noon Cabinet, has been arrested on a charge of blackmarketing.
