Kerala, Andhra post wins

VIJAYAWADA: Kerala defeated Hyderabad by 36 runs while Andhra scored a three-wicket victory over Karnataka in the South Zone u-19 women’s One-day tournament being held at Anantapur, according to information reaching here on Friday. The tie between Tamil Nadu and Goa was washed out owing to overnight rain.

The scores:

Kerala 112 in 48.3 overs (Asha 50 n.o., Nidhi three for 36, Anusha three for 15) bt Hyderabad 76 in 35.2 overs (Bheeshma three for 10).

Karnataka 81 in 26 overs lost to Andhra 82 for seven in 25.1 overs.
