Delhi clubs for Governor’s Gold Cup

NEW DELHI: Two top clubs from the capital city, New Delhi Heroes and Shimla Youngs, will make their debut in the 30th all-India Governor’s Gold Cup football tournament to be held in Sikkim from October 14 to 25.

Fifteen teams, including one each from Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan, will take part in the prestigious tournament.

The teams: Nepal XI, Bangladesh XI, Army XI, Titanium (Kerela), BSF (Jalandar), Punjab Police, New Delhi Heroes, Tata Football Academy, Mohun Bagan, SAIL, Railway FC (Kolkata), BNR (Kolkata), DGHC XI, Simla Youngs (Delhi), United Sikkim Club and Sikkim Police.
