KARAIKAL: The Karaikal Struggle Group (KSG) has sought nullification of the examinations for lecturers of Society Colleges in Karaikal conducted on September 28. In a release, KSG convener S.P. Selvashanmugham said that the examination was “unjust and unacceptable” because of the reservation of five seats for the Scheduled Tribes. The data published by the Delimitation Commission showed that there were no Scheduled Tribes in the district. The release said that many candidates from Tamil Nadu and Kerala benefitted from the examinations while candidates from Karaikal suffered.
