2 killed, 10 injured in accident

VILLUPURAM: A State Transport Corporation bus plying on the Chennai-Salem route met with an accident at Padur near Ulundurpet in the early hours on Saturday.

One of the passengers M. Sathishkumar (20) of Veerapandi in Thiruvanmiyur died on the spot. Ten others sustained injuries. Bus conductor Vijayakumar, who was admitted to a Salem hospital, succumbed to injuries.

The police said the bus rammed a stationary lorry parked on the road.
