Patil denies reports on Siddaramaiah

GULBARGA: The former Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Council, B.R. Patil, has denied media reports that the former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who was denied the post of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president, was likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), along with his supporters. Terming the reports as “speculative,” Mr. Patil told presspersons here on Saturday that there was no question of Mr. Siddaramaiah or his supporters including himself joining the BJP.
