Murugan, City in quarterfinals

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Murugan CC and City CC entered the quarterfinals of the G.V. Raja memorial all-Kerala cricket tournament at the Medical College ground here on Saturday.

Murugan CC defeated Oxford CC by 38 runs, while City CC crushed Attingal CC by 91 runs in the pre-quarterfinals.

The scores: City CC 191 for four in 20 overs (P. Prasanth 62 n.o., Bibin Chatterjee 62) bt Attingal CC 100 for eight in 20 overs.

Murugan CC 203 for five in 25 overs (Mahes 50, Ganesh 50, Babu 44) bt Oxford CC 165 for seven in 25 overs (Akash 69).
