Discussion on village deities

A discussion on ‘village deities in Greater Visakhapatnam’ was held under the aegis of Visakha Sahiti at BVK Junior College on Saturday. Retired professor of Andhra University Library G.V.S.L. Narasimha Raju said that goddess Kanaka Mahalakshmi was the ‘Kshetra Palaka’ of the city.
