Two held for alleged murder

NEW DELHI: Two persons have been arrested for allegedly stabbing a young man to death during a robbery at Samaipur Badli here this past month.

According to the police, Mohammad Muqdar and Mohammed Shaifq stabbed two young men at Samaipur Badli railway station on September 24 and made off with their cell phones. One of the victims, Sunil, later succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.

On September 28, the police arrested Muqdar near a petrol pump in Rohini following a tip-off. His accomplice Shaifq was arrested in Azadpur on Friday.
