Slew of offers from BSNL

VIRUDHUNAGAR: The Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) has announced a slew of festival offers, including an attractive prepaid card plan, booster cards to cut ongoing call charges and additional talk value.

In a statement, its Virudhunagar General Manager, S. Thirunavukarasu, said that the super mega plan pre-paid card would enable subscribers make local calls (within Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry) to all BSNL network phones, including mobile, landline and wireless in local loop at 49 paise a minute. For other networks, it will be 90 paise a minute.

The card with one-year validity would cost Rs. 249 including a talk value of Rs. 50. The STD calls to BSNL numbers would be Rs. 1.20 a minute and other networks Rs. 1.50 a minute. However, the STD calls between 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. would be just Re 1 a minute.

The plan with a daily rental of Rs. 1, comes with 3000 free SMS a month and an extended family and friends plan, that would enable subscribers make calls to five chosen BSNL numbers for 25 paise a minute.

Booster cards

Booster 79 and Booster 99 cards would enable the pre-paid card subscribers to make local calls to all BSNL mobiles at 20 paise a minute and 10 paise a minute respectively. Calls made to other network and BSNL landline and WLL is 49 paise a minute. The validity of the cards is 30 days.
