Patiala: Two suspected “suicide bombers”, including a woman, were on Saturday arrested for allegedly plotting to kill controversial Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, police said. With the timely arrest of Bagicha Singh and Gobind Kaur, the police prevented a “suicide attack” on the Dera Sacha Sauda chief, Senior Superintendent of Police S. K. Asthana told reporters here. He said that former Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) militant Bakhshish Singh along with his accomplices were plotting to eliminate the Dera chief. “The two procured mobile numbers on the basis of fake identity and were in touch with Bakhshish Singh,” the SSP alleged. He said that the conspirators had formed a new outfit Bhindrawala Action Committee and the two arrested had earlier visited the Dera at Sirsa and stayed there for a few days. “Bagicha Singh was the mastermind along with Bakhshish,” Mr Asthana said. - PTI
