Four of a family die as hut catches fire

MAHABUBNAGAR: Four persons, including a four-year-old girl, of a family were burnt alive when the hut in which they were sleeping caught fire in Rayapuram village of Ghattu mandal. The inmates before going to sleep put a smoke with leaves to repel mosquitoes. However, the hut caught fire when they were in deep sleep. Timmalamma (3) was saved as she was thrown outside. The deceased were Bazaraiah (50) his wife Gokaramma (40), daughter Laxmi (30) and her daughter Urakondamma (4).
