VELLORE: Two persons died in different accidents in Vellore district in the last two days. D. Lakshmana Naidu (60) of Adiperumanur near Natrampalli was killed when a car hit a moped on which he was proceeding to Velakkalnatham on the Chennai-Bangalore National Highway on Tuesday morning. Easwari (58), who was on the pillion, sustained injuries and was admitted to Government Hospital, Vaniyambadi. J. Parthasarathy (38) of Arcot, who was proceeding to Arcot on his two-wheeler was killed on the spot when an Arni-bound borewell lorry dashed against his vehicle opposite the Murugan Rice Mill on the Arcot-Arni Road on Monday night.
