Lorry entry prohibited

Chitradurga: The district administration has prohibited entry of all mining lorries into the city between 6.00 a. m. and 10 p. m., according to a press release. Deputy Commissioner Amlan Aditya Biswas said that the decision to prohibit lorries from entering the city during these hours was to prevent accidents and to tackle traffic congestion in the city. He urged the police department to ensure that the directions were not violated.
