Muthoot ECC ‘B’ records win

KOCHI: Muthoot ECC ‘B’ defeated J and V Granites Wadakkancherry CC by three wickets in a rain-hit first round match of the 58th Pooja all-India cricket tournament at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Tuesday.

The scores: J & V Granites Wadakkancherry CC 161 in 40.4 overs (Kaliraj 53, Ameen three for 39) lost to Muthoot ECC ‘B’ 81 for seven in 20.3 overs (Samad 31). Muthoot’s target reduced to 80 in 22 overs owing to rain.
