Money for storm water drains

GHMC Commissioner and Special Officer, S.P. Singh, on Tuesday announced a grant of Rs. 124 crore to the GHMC under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Scheme (JNNURM) modernising storm water drains.

Mr. Singh, who has attended the Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) meeting held in New Delhi few days ago, said that the sanctioned amount would be utilised for improving storm water drains in old city.
