Cell Science sets up test centre

CHENNAI: Cell Science Systems Corp. of the U.S. (CSS), a provider of Alcat Test, on Tuesday announced the launch of its first centre for India at Chennai.

Addressing the media here, Roger Deutsch, President and Chief Executive Officer, said Alcat Test was a food allergy and chemical sensitivity/intolerance test. It was a simple and user friendly effective blood test that would determine which foods and chemicals one need to avoid.

Achal Ramesh, General Manager, Lifeline Healthcare, said Lifeline was appointed as the distributor in India for CSS. Lifeline appointed its first franchisee, Food and Health Labs.

Ketan Parekh, CEO, Food and Health Labs, said one test centre each in Chennai and Bangalore would be operational from October 20.
