CHENNAI: Four bikers from Chennai have put up a decent show in the Malaysian Super Series so far. They will, however, face a final challenge in the ultimate round of the MSS-2008 at the Sepang racing circuit this weekend. K. Rajini, Emmanuel Jebaraj, Emmanuel Clarke and P. Karthick turned in respectable performances in their respective categories. Placed second overall in the Super Series-600cc class, Rajini of Red Rooster Racing will have to clock in two decent races to hold on to his position. The last round of the Super Series-600cc will be conducted as the support race to the Moto GP on October 19. Competing in the Novice 600cc division, Jebaraj will look to better his sixth position in the concluding leg. His sixth place showing in a pool of 23 riders is noteworthy as he has missed a couple of races. Riding a Kawasaki-150, Clarke, too, is placed sixth in the Kawasaki Cup category and would look to vindicate the trust his team — Race Line — has placed in him. Rounding up the Chennai contingent is Karthick. Competing in the production class Yamaha 125cc category, Karthick is currently placed seventh overall in a grid of 29 riders. — Sports Reporter
