Abhinav Prakash in final

NEW DELHI: Abhinav Prakash defeated Tanvir Gill 21-13, 23-25, 21-8 to move into the men’s final of the Passion Club Delhi State ranking badminton tournament at the Punjabi Bagh Club here on Wednesday.

The results (semifinals):

Men: Davinder Dhillon bt Sachin Rawat 21-17, 23-21; Abhinav Prakash bt Tanvir Gill 21-13, 23-25, 21-8.

Women: Motia Sahdev bt Meenakshi Nair 21-8, 21-16; Nidhi Tiwari bt Gauri Chopra 11-21, 21-19, 21-11.

Under-19 boys: C. Bhsakar bt Nitish Arora 21-5, 21-12; Bharat Bajaj bt Abhilash Sharma 21-15, 21-15.
