Advocates boycott courts

CHENNAI: Advocates boycotted courts for the second day on Friday in response to a call by the Madras High Court Advocates Association (MHAA) to protest against the killing of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka by the island army.

Led by association president R.C. Paul Kanagaraj, the advocates undertook a fast in front of the High Court. The participants also said the Centre should stop giving aid to the island government. — Special Correspondent
