Workshop on ornamental fish

KOCHI: An international workshop on green certification of ornamental fish was held here. G. Mohan Kumar, chairman, Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), inaugurated the workshop.

The workshop is held to develop guidelines for green certification.

It is a pioneering attempt to introduce eco-friendliness and product quality for ornamental fishes in the domestic and international market, said a press release from MPEDA.

The MPEDA chairman stressed the pioneering works undertaken by the Authority in green certification and geographical indication of ornamental fishes.
