Toll-free number to register complaints

Special Correspondent

VILLUPURAM: Collector R. Palanisamy inaugurated the toll-free number, 1070, for registering complaints, at the Collectorate here on Friday.

Those who had complaints or grievances could call up the number and register their names and addresses by quoting the numbers of either the driving licence or Electors’ Photo Identity Cards.

Each caller would be given a serial number and immediately connected to the tahsildar concerned. The Collector would be apprised of the number of calls received every day, which he would review during the weekly grievances day session.

The details of all the calls would be posted on http://villupuramgdp.tn.nic.in.
