Now, CPN (UML) for name change

KATHMANDU: A day after the CPN (Maoist) revealed it was considering a name change, another communist party, the CPN (UML), has said it is also in the process of changing its name. “We are thinking of retaining our original name,” said CPN (UML) general secretary Jhalanath Khanal on Saturday.

“We could just be called the Communist Party of Nepal,” he said.
