A memorable experience for special children

ARUNIM an innovative project conceived by National Trust

Former President Abdul Kalam the chief guest at inaugural function

Amalapuram: On invitation of National Trust of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi, Dr. K.V.R. Research Foundation for Health and Rehabilitation, Amalapuram represented by Head Master,

Special Educators and disabled students escorted by parents participated in the inaugural function of ARUNIM. Dr. K. Srimannarayana, fournder of the KVR Research Foundation said on Sunday that it was a memorable experience for disabled children.

ARUNIM is an Association of Rehabilitation under National Trust Initiative of Marketing, an innovative project conceived and commissioned by National Trust, New Delhi.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President, was the chief guest to the inaugural function of ARUNIM. Poonam Natarajan, chairperson of the National Trust, presided over the function. Dr.Abdul Kalam started the scheme by lighting the lamp. K.A.Bhagavan, a student of Shreya Special Education School, presented a memento that is a glass paint made by the disabled children of Shreya School to Dr. Kalam on the occasion.

Many NGOs registered with National Trust exhibited various handicraft items made by the disabled children in the stalls of the exhibition got up in this connection.

National Trust appreciated Dr.K.V.R.Research Foundation for the active services being rendered to the disabled children.
