October 17 was indeed a red letter day for Indian cricket. Sachin Tendulkar, the master blaster, majestically scaled the summit of international cricket by scoring 12,027 runs in Test cricket, surpassing Brian Lara’s record of 11,953 runs. The little master now stands tall in the annals of cricket history. N. Radha Krishnan, Chennai Sachin has scaled an unconquered peak, towering over the world of cricket. While his accomplishments on the field will be remembered for a long time to come, what will set him apart as a great champion is his superhuman composure. Anand Datla, Minneapolis
