APEEU chalks out action plan
The A.P. Electricity Employees’ Union has chalked out an action plan following the deadlock in talks with the Transco management on the issues raised by it. The union served a strike notice on Sept. 24 to the management. According to union zonal secretary V.S.R.K. Ganapathi, relay fasts will be taken up at all circle offices from October 20 to 22 and a rally at all circle headquarters from October 24.
A lunch-hour dharna will be organised at the EPDCL office on October 30. This will be followed by indefinite fast at Hyderabad from Nov. 5, a Chalo Vidyut Soudha protest on Nov. 10 and strike from Nov. 13.
