RBI employees to go on mass leave today

Kolkata: RBI employees will go on mass casual leave on Tuesday to protest against what they described as ‘unilateral withdrawal of the scheme of updating of pension introduced in the RBI in 2003.’ A statement by Samir Ghosh, convener of the United Forum of RBI Officers and Employees, said the updating had been withdrawn all of a sudden and effective from this month-end.
