More DA for Haryana staff

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Finance Minister Birender Singh, on Tuesday announced an increase in the rate of dearness allowance (DA) payable to the State Government employees from the existing 47 per cent to 54 per cent of the pay with effect from July 1, 2008.

The Finance Minister also announced an interest-free advance of Rs.2,000 to all Class IV employees on the occasion of Diwali.
