Water level rises in reservoirs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The water level in Idukki and Kallada reservoirs has increased during the period from October 14 to 20. In Idukki reservoir, the water level increased by 0.02 ft. and in Kallada by 4.39 ft. In Idamalayar, the water level decreased by 2.86 ft. The water level in Idukki, Kallada and Idamalayar reservoirs stood at 2353.92 ft., 371.29 ft., and 498.26 ft., respectively. Compared to the same period last year, the water levels are lower in all the three reservoirs. — Special Correspondent
