Stop order on ration cards

Special Correspondent

Appeal allowed, says Collector

TIRUCHI: Family card holders, who have shifted residence, and included in the stop supply list during the recent cent per cent verification drive could appeal against the order, Collector T. Soundiah has said. Mr.Soundiah, in a press release, observed that temporary stop supply orders have been issued on family cards of residents who have shifted or migrated.

Lists of such cards have been notified in the respective ration shops.

However, these card holders were issued essential commodities for October as they were given 30 days to appeal against the order.

Those who wish to appeal against the order can submit petitions addressed to the Special Tahsildhar or the Taluk Supply Officers at the respective ration shops.

The decision would be notified soon after spot verification.
