THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Noted Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamoorthy has been selected for the Swaralaya-Kairali-Yesudas Award for 2008 and veteran music director M.S. Viswanathan has been selected for the award for contributions to music. Minister for Culture and Education and jury chairman M.A. Baby told reporters here on Thursday that Ms. Krishnamoorthy and Mr. Viswanathan were unanimously selected by the jury on the basis of the nominations from music lovers. — Special Correspondent
