Jeevitaa Rajasekhar clarifies on summons

HYDERABAD: Jeevitaa, producer and wife of actor Rajasekhar, on Thursday clarified that she had not received any summons from any court as on date, to her address or addressed to her.

In a press release, she said she did not owe any amount to P. Nagaraju and saying that she was not even aware of such a person, clarified that neither had he ever approached her with any payment dues nor had she entered into any financial deals with him.

Ms. Jeevitaa agreed she had taken loan for her previous film, ‘Evadaithe Nakenti’ from Mr. Mallikarjun Rao but had settled it in full on the day the film released. She said business differences between Mr. Rao and his associates had led to her cheque being ‘mishandled’.

Alleging they had used her position in society to extract money from her, she said she intended to approach the court with all details and seek justice.

The non-bailable warrant, she said, was issued against her and not on her husband Dr. Rajasekhar. He had no part in this.
