Cases to be filed against Seeman, Ameer
C. Jaisankar
RAMANATHAPURAM: Cases will be filed against film directors Seeman, Ameer and others, who allegedly spoke in support of the banned Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), at a public meeting organised by the Tamil film industry at Rameswaram a few days ago, according to Superintendent of Police K.A. Senthil Velan.
He told The Hindu here on Thursday that he had received inputs from various agencies that a few speakers made speeches supporting the LTTE.
The tapes were being examined and transcription had been initiated. Copies of the tapes had been sent to the police headquarters in Chennai.
