Role of patterns in different fields highlighted

Rajahmundry: A seminar on “Recent trends in patterns and their applications” was organised by Srinivasa Ramanujan Research Forum-GIET (SRRF-GIET) in Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology, on Thursday.

Associate Professor Dr. B. Eswar Reddy, Department of Computer Science at JNTU, Anantapur, acted as resource person for the seminar. He highlighted about the role of patterns in practical applications like medical images, finding the structure, size and shape of the fractures and various other abnormalities and how patterns can be utilised in textile processing. Dr B. Eswar Reddy explained how he made use of advanced research facilities during his stay at GIET.

The Principal of GIET Dr. S.S.N. Murthy felicitated Dr. Eswara Reddy with a citation and memento. Director, Prof. Gupta, MCA head Venkat and others felicitated Dr. Eswara Reddy.
