Biased

The authors’ vision towards the creation of world-class universities is nothing but a ploy to concentrate all educational facilities in urban and “mainland India.” Saying that world-class institutions cannot be established in the northeast and other outlying areas amounts to racism. Such a mindset is regrettable and betrays a colonial and parochial outlook. Most of the prestigious institutions were established after a sustained struggle and sacrifices by the people of the region. The article is culturally biased.
