“Approach police when offended by persons indulging in instigation of communal passions” 189 accused have so far been arrested and more arrests were in the offing, says IGP ADILABAD: The Inspector General of Police, Warangal Region, J. Purnachandra Rao on Thursday appealed to people to approach the police when they feel offended by persons indulging in instigation of communal passions. He urged people to refrain from indulging in violence over such matters. NormalThe IGP said the situation in Bhainsa was returning to normal even as the police continued arresting accused in different cases related with the recent communal disturbances. ArrestsHe said 189 accused have so far been arrested and more arrests were in the offing. The police has identified about 10 to 20 persons on either side of the communal divide who actually incite trouble. Action under section 107 of the CrPC will be initiated against such people who belong to Bhainsa, Kubeer, Tanur and Nirmal, he added. Meanwhile day time curfew was lifted for the second successive day on Thursday at Bhainsa. Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar told The Hindu that the relaxation period remained incident free.
