Immoral traffic racket busted

ADILABAD: Adilabad Town police On Thursday arrested 15 local youths, three girls and another woman under sections 4, 5 and 8 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. CI S. Bala Raju and I Town SI D.A. John Diwakar told reporters that the girls and the youngsters were arrested for indulging in sex in an abandoned house while the woman was arrested for inducing the girls in prostitution.
The youths contacted the girls over mobile phones and participated in sex with them for a consideration at a house in white quarters that lay vacant for some time now.
Police recovered condoms, a bed sheet and pillow and a mobile phone from the house.
Meanwhile the police also produced at the press conference one Syed Raheem of Khanapur locality who impersonated as a Sub Inspector of Police and snatched Rs. 500 by threatening a victim B. Srinivas with a toy pistol on October 20.
