Dismissal of senior clerk ordered

BHUBANESWAR: Nayagarh district administration has ordered dismissal of a senior clerk, Rama Chandra Barik, who was convicted for demanding and accepting bribe. Special Judge of Vigilance, Bhubaneswar had convicted him for accepting bribe of Rs.200 for issuance of land record from agriculture land to homestead land.

Consequent upon the judgment, district magistrate of Nayagarh ordered dismissal Mr. Barik from government service with immediate effect.
