Sale of combat dresses banned in Samba

Jammu: In a bid to prevent combat dresses of security forces reaching the hands of militants, their sale has been banned in civilian shops and open markets in Samba border district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Samba District Magistrate Saurabh Bhagat on Friday issued the order after it was found that use of combat dresses of Army and paramilitary forces by militants had gone up.

Exercising his powers under Section 144 CrPC, the District Magistrate banned sale and storing of cloth of combat dresses also.
