1,800 telephone connections disrupted

NEW DELHI: Over 1,800 telephone connections at Raghu Nagar, Sagarpur and Syndicate Enclave in the Capital were disrupted as thieves stole seven underground cables near Dabri village on Thursday.

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited said on Saturday that it had started relaying the cables on a war footing and would try to restore all the connections by Monday.
