Drug Controller issues warning

BANGALORE: The Drug Testing Laboratory has declared Zopi-200 (Ofloxacin tablets 200 mg, batch CSSZOT7005 manufactured by Chimak Healthcare, Solan, Himachal Pradesh) and Althrocin-500 (Erythromycin-Estolate tablets IP, batch 8337026A manufactured by Alembic Ltd., Baddi, Himachal Pradesh) as “not of standard quality”. The Drug Controller has warned chemists, wholesalers, doctors, hospitals and nursing homes not to stock, sell or use these drugs. — Staff Reporter
