BJP seeks ban on PDP, NDF

Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP State president P.K. Krishnadas demanded here on Friday that the Congress and the CPI(M) should state its stand on banning the NDF and the PDP who allegedly had links with terrorist organisations.

Demanding ban on the two organisations, the BJP leader said in a statement that both the LDF and the UDF had adopted a soft approach towards extremism.

Even the Assembly was misused to secure the release of PDP leader Abdul Nasir Maudani who had earlier headed a banned organisation.
